Honorable mention to gift horse.

Im pretty sure I asked him for multiple Stanley Cups.

How many times this past Cup run did opposing teams absolutely blow Grade A chances by hitting the post? I feel like there were a dozen in the Ottawa series alone, and at least two from the Vegas series.

We weren't gifted a horse. We were gifted an entire stable.

Josef Vasicek? He is gone, but will NEVER be forgotten.

I've always thought, even before the tragedy he unfortunately went through, that that goal in Game 5 against the Devils was probably one of the most important goals in the franchise's history. Definitely top 5.

I also like to mention Chuck Kaiton—before streaming existed, he was the radio voice that made me dream and imagine, and he was instrumental in my passion for the franchise, which I had been following since the last years in Hartford.

I saw a Jalen Chatfield interview on twitter and he mentioned "some guys who have been even longer than me." He hasn't been here that long, I think, so I looked it up and he's been playing here since 2022 and is 11th all time among defensemen for the franchise in Raleigh. Man does time fly, we just won the Cup with him at RD1 (playing well too) and he's still a new guy to me. If he plays at least 53 games next season he can leapfrog Sean Hill, Bret Hedican, Aaron Ward and David Tanabe and end at 7th all time games played for a dman in Carolina.

On that note Niclas Wallin is 6th, I always underrated him, I got into the team at the tail end of his career in NC but he played on all three big playoff aught runs, should make an effort to learn more about his time here.
