Oh god, not an afternoon game on national TV...
Two seasons ago, game 4 of the second round against the Blues was on Saturday afternoon also, and we were able to get off the mat during the day and win a game.
So, it is consistent...but again, no confirmation as of yet.

Remember that day! Was a very good one - went to a huge Ferrari show in the morning and saw the Kings win one of their biggest wins ever in the afternoon.![]()

Also the loudest I've ever heard Staples after Brown scored that EN goal.
Stubhub has the Kings game on Saturday at 1 p.m., but I have seen no confirmation of this at all.
NHL.com still has it as TBD.

Yeah, wish I was there!
6:30PM start per the NHL (as of this morning) for game 4. Kings/Ducks isn't enough of a national draw to put it on NBC as a day game, so we get an evening start on NBCSN instead (a good thing, IMO).
It was the loudest I'd ever heard a Staples crowd up until last week up until last week when we killed that 5-3. That was deafening.
Bob Miller agrees with you. It was one of the things I chatted with him about on my flight with him last week. I wasn't at that game, but Bob obviously was and he said that that 5 on 3 post-kill crowd noise was #1 all time. A bit louder than Brown's EN goal in game 4. Bob ranked the top 4 crowd noise moments as:
1. 5 on 3 kill vs. SJ
2. Game 4 Brown EN goal
3. Game 6 2nd goal (2 of 3 in the 5 minute major)
4. Game 6 3rd goal (3 of 3 in the 5 minute major)
Not being in the arena for #1 myself, I certainly agree with 2-4 and I'll take your guys' word for it who were there for #1.
One other side note about Bob... I know he's getting up there in years, but I asked him how many other game 7's he's worked, and he rattled them off *by team and year they happened* from memory. I was really impressed. Bob's the man.
