Laval Rocket: Lehigh Valley Phantoms at Laval Rocket 7:00 pm - Watch on RDS2

Hughes is not that good, probably won’t be re-signed
He might be re-signed! Will depend on available goalies after Primeau gets claimed on waivers, Dobes stays in the NHL and Fowler returns to Boston College.

New goalie comes in, has a few good games, people go crazy. Goalie performance normalizes and they get trashed.

Budaj, Niemi, Condon, Tokarski, Lindgren, Primeau, Hughes.....
Well I didn’t « trashed him » and all of them except Hughes played in the NHL and had higher high’s than Hughes. I just don’t think there’s a place for him espcially if we sign Fowler.

I wasn't aiming it at you specifically. The shift in board feeling from October to now is just classic HF Habs.

It's almost like you're wishing for the Habs to fail.
I'm not. But i wont get mad and point fingers because they fail unlike many of our fans. I expect them to fail it would be the normal course of action. It's part of the process. You don't learn by winning you learn by losing. Barkov missed the playoffs 5 times in his first 6 seasons. And lost in the first round in his 3 first playoffs appearance. MacKinnon missed the playoffs 3 times in his first 4 seasons and lost in the first round in his 2 first playoffs appearance. Kopitar missed the playoffs 4 times in his first 5 seasons and lost in the first round in his 1st playoffs appearance.

Fowler will not return to Boston College.
He may, as the top 2 Boston collegiate forward players (Leonard and Perreault) will be leaving and the team may be weaker next year. Then again, another year with BC would not hurt, He would be tested more on BC next year.

I'm not sure what that has to do with Reinbacher.

It's a bit unsettling that Reinbacher isn't playing after a week off. They say it's return to play protocol, but what is it the protocol is based on?

Range of motion, pain, swelling around the knee? Strength?

I guess he did come back to play close to the beginning of the 5 to 6 month window they said for recovery, so maybe they just envision this as part of his recovery with close monitoring.
