Watched the lowlights this morning. Woooof that has got to be the worst game they have played in a couple years.

No leadership from the top guys right now. Mackinnon has been f***ing awful this season, he has less goals than Connor f***ing Bedard. WTF.

Hopefully this is the low point of the season, but god damn things do not look good for this team right now.
 
I forget where I posted that Las Vegas would beat us so badly we'd get moved back to Quebec but, er, aye. I watched the whole thing, so I did more than half the team.

Losing Landeskog, EJ, Kadri and Helm absolutely devastated the leadership and heart of the team. Replacing them with guys like Drouin, RyJo and Tatar was the exact opposite of what should have been done.

But we're stuck with that now and just have to ride the streaky highs and lows from the whole team this season.

Kadri is a bad example. Calgary not loving him.
 
Avs should have made some changes to the assistant coaching staff during the offseason. If you stick with Bednar for this long you need to introduce new voices to keep the message fresh. Plus I hate Bennett's PP.
 
Let's not talk about Avs. How about them Oilers?

I don’t feel like going through to see if anyone mentioned it last night but this team desperately misses Allard. Do we even know why he left? Whoever they’ve replaced him with is not up to par
 
Haven’t really seen the best of anyone in that second tier of players. Toews, Byram, Georgiev, Nichushkin have all been average, and imo that's the difference.

Last year was a combination of injuries and zero production from the bottom-6, but this year it’s those middle contributors missing, especially at 5 on 5.

He left for family, business, and health (he was an Avs remember) reasons. Replaced by Toby Petersen, a former player.

Thanks. It’s too bad. Not a fan of Petersen so far. Kroenke can spend 100 million GBP (think that’s like 120 million USD) on Declan Rice but apparently can’t shell out for a skills coach who can get the team to make tape to tape passes again
