The absolutely most worthless statistics imaginable. Near misses? They are not shots on goal.....they are equivalent to shooting it 30 feet wide.

I'm a little surprised we had at least a player on there, if it's not going in we usually do shoot it 30 feet wide

Werenski was actually leading this stat (or at least regular posts if not total) earlier in the season (2 months ago or so). We were talking about it on the CBJ forum and using the same NHL.com stats. He's cooled off lately in this regard and in general points. But he got a lot of pings early in the season for sure. His shots are pretty good at getting through traffic.
