Back to back against the Wings to end pre-season.

Guessing we get a dog lineup tonight and closer to an opening night lineup tomorrow.
I imagine the lineup will be out soon.

Looks like Samsonov is starting, with Murray getting Saturday at home.
IMO, whichever goalie gets the better lineup will be the net Opening Night

I know people will complain about the lineup. Personally, I am excited to see Malgin vs Robertson, Sandin's first "game", Samsonov getting peppered with shots, and then various players (Holmberg, Kral, Villeneuve, SDA, McCann, Steeves) getting a more significant role and seeing how they do.

Hope the extra weight Sandin put on doesn't slow him down (even more)! Looking forward to seeing him though.

Also interested to see how these last few roster spots play out. No preference for me; whoever will get the job done best is who I want to see.

From Simmonds comments yesterday (about the 5th line), sounds like he has already been told he is on the outside looking in to start the season.

I'm not even that pumped for the regular season if im being honest, no playoff victory in 18 years has truly settled into my heart and brain.

Have a good regular season sure, but we need some post season success like Putin needs a bullet to the head lol.
