2nd half of back to backs. 5th game in 8 nights. Was expecting a crap performance. Got lucky to get the 2 points.

Biggest issues are that the forwards are looking gased and the defense is out of sync with all the galaxy braining from the coaching staff since the deadline. Need to figure out the defense and not overtax the big boys in the home stretch.

He played on the top line but 6 forwards had more minutes... just because he plays top 6 doesn't mean he is getting top 6 minutes. I'd love for Matthews to play with two average players like Kerfoot/Jarnkrok, probably lets us have Bunting/Tavares/Marner and Knies/ROR/Nylander... it is essentially 3 first lines.

Murray was on fire tonight. That first goal against was nothing but pure shithouse bad luck. That shot through Lilleys legs; no goalie is saving that one.. That fourth goal he couldn't be faulted for either. McCabe blocked it and the rebound off McCabe went to a wide open Senator. I know people think he went down early on that shot, but to be honest, the only goalie that doesn't go down on that shot is a table top hockey goalie. Murray also made a miraculous save or two in the OT and didn't break in the SO.

More than the win tonight, I like that we're 6-3-1 in the last ten games and on pace for 110 points. Not too shabby.

OMG, what a game & holly crap, the entire 45 minutes drive home from the game, all I heard on the Sens radio was people calling in bitching about all the Blue & White and that they gotta do something about that.
70 - 80% of calls where all about the number of Leaf fans with couple of educated calls talking about their own team fcol.

The Holl - Brodie pairing was atrocious and -2.

The Holl - Anyone pairing is usually good for at least 2 goals against per game.

It's one thing when we had no one better. At this point he's our 8th best D.

They were a -3 if you count the disallowed goal. Terrible effort by both of them on the plus side, I thought Rielly had another good game. Bodes well for the playoffs. We missed Acciari tonight.

Wonder if Jarnkrok has passed Bunting on the depth charts. The two are really heading in opposite directions lately. If Keefe does decide to load it up when ROR comes back there's just the one spot in the top 6 for Bunting and Jarnkrok.

I don't know how to feel.

On one hand Matt Murray made 48 saves which is to many saves because It's many shots.

On the other he did allow 4+ goals for the 3rd straight game that needs to stop quick, fast and in a hurry

Good two points, will never be upset about that.

Beyond that, I have nothing else positive to say about this game, they were terrible.

The officiating in this league is a damn disgrace. Missed calls, phantom calls, makeup calls, even up calls, etc. They can't even call a damn icing right. Jarnkrok clearly won that race. When you add in the game management and diving this shit is nearly unwatchable some nights. So sad that this is where the league is at right now. I don't recall seeing this much diving in the game.

I barely complain about the refs but I agree, shame it’s this bad.

Leafs are definitely not playing well. We're posting some wins because of our offense. Murray was amazing tonight too. I think it's a combination of the trade deadline additions settling in with the team, poor goaltending and the 11/7 lineup Keefe has been running. Hopefully they start to gel. (Some lineup stability would help with this) and we get healthy. Goaltending needs to stabilize too if we're going to have a shot at doing any damage this spring.

I mean we just had a good defensive performance literally yesterday.
