Reaves is about as useful as tits on a nun.

When Pare refused to fight Xhekaj hunted him down and beat his ass. But all Reaves did was skate off when Xhekaj pooh-pooh'd him away. Shooting a few stink eyes and muttering under his breath on the bench isn't scaring anyone.

When do we see the accountability we heard so much about when Treliving and Berube were hired.

The core have it made. They keep screwing up and Berube keeps playing them while Treliving gives them all raises. What's not to like for them about the new management.

If you're going to shoot your mouth off about accountability when hired you should follow up on it.

Making an example of Robertson and Domi while Rielly keeps dressing every game is the exact opposite of what they should be doing. Everyone on this team should be held accountable for their play. I admit Rielly isn't as useless as Reaves but he's close.

At least Rielly isn't afraid to punch a guy out without asking first.

Leafs win, baby!!!!

Tire fire of a first period. bleh.

Decent 2nd and dominant third. Woll kept them in it till eveyone woke up. Imagine how much more dangerous this team is, if ever they decide to play a full 60.

Glad it was Toronto that snapped that win streak. Those pretenders aren't going far. Just high enough in the standings to screw their draft lol

Papi looks back in form. That shot was a beaut. Woll making 10 bell saves. Willie just being greasy lol. Scoring from core players, depth players and d. Gotta love it!!

On to the next one.

Go Leafs Go.

Xhekaj crapping his pants at t h e end of the first sparked the turn around. The Leafs scored 7 straight after that.

Doesn't matter where they draft, their scouts are trash and will pick some dud regardless.

The Robertson goal really felt like the turning point.
You go into the third period down 3-1 and that's a tough climb to get the win but at 3-2, as a team you feel it's much more achievable.
WOLL, OEL, MCMANN all had strong games, thought Holmberg was pretty good also.
The last two W's show some real charachter, as we could have easily lost both of these and we could be on a long losing streak but the team kept battling when down.

If you think Kerfoot is three to one 'grittier' than Domi, than you don't know very much about the subject.
This is true...but that still doesn't change the fact that Domi has no value to this team, especially at his price, 4 out of 5 games.

People including the media are going to pretend last night was a good thing. But all I see is more of the same. A team who is supposed to be prioritizing defense giving up 15 high danger chances against and being bailed out by hot goaltending. And if we don't get it, people blame the goalie.

The way this team is playing right now they have a long way to go to be considered a contender.

Keep Reaves for dressing room 'vibes' or w.e. but he's waived fodder the moment this team needs cap space. Time to retire. Find a more useful checking forward.

Woll saved this teams bacon. He was being shelled with some high grade chances early in that ugly 1st and could have easily been a 6-0 hole to climb from rather than a 3-0.

Happy to see they turned it on when needed to. Hopefully they can build on it. And hopefully they humbled Montreal enough because they've been on a heater.

Tend to agree with you but they put a good beat down on what what the hottest team in the NHL the last 10 games and in their barn. Berube must have read them the riot act for them to turn this one around.

We won't know the true colours of this team until the playoffs IMO.

We know their true colours. I haven't seen anything that suggests those have changed.

Unless we get insane goaltending and our players get super hot (which I mean, I'll take it. IDK if we win the cup being outshot 20:1 each game) I don't see how we compete

Most likely but we need to see it played out. I thought it was game set and match after the first, but they defied the odds. The Habs wanted that game more than the Leafs last night and for them not to be able to stop the Leafs was what made it so impressive to me.

For those that say this team needs luck, they sure as hell got some last night or they would have had to play some OT.

Xhekaj crapping his pants at t h e end of the first sparked the turn around. The Leafs scored 7 straight after that.

It might have had a bit of an effect but I'm not convinced that was the TSN turning point.

They didn't exactly come flying out of the gates to start the second and were still behind by one to start the third. They didn't even score a goal until about halfway through and the second one came in the dying minutes of the period. My guess is Berube was giving them a speech during intermissions and that kicked their asses to do something more than Xhekaj acting like a coward chicken.

Not sure what the score in the first period has anything to do with wanting to fight anyway.

Just saw something new I had never seen before in my life time.

Every since becoming a Leafs fan in the 1960's Never have the Leafs ever beaten Montreal in Montreal dating back to the Montreal Forum then and Bell Centre now have the Leafs ever come back and winning a game after being down by 3 goals in the history of the NHL franchises.

Maybe this is an omen I might be something new I never have seen in the Stanley Cup playoffs by my Leafs since 1967?.

I was wondering what the largest come from behind win was. That team out east is a shell of its former self and has been for 30 yrs. I love to see it.

The turning point was when the TTOE player hit the post prior to McMann’s goal. Guy hits the net and it’s 4-0, but instead it’s 3-1.

That Nylander goal might be the best of his career. The speed, tenacity, strength and talent, unreal effort and finish. I've watched it 5 times lol.

Yep, he's an amazing skater.
So powerful with elite edgework and agility.
He's not the fastest guy in the league but when you factor in all elements of skating, he's one of the best.
