Again. It's a hated rival. It doesn't matter when the game is played. It will not change anything come May but if you understand the importance of rivalry games you would know.

Michigan won the National Championship last year. Had a shit season but beat Ohio State. Fans were happy.

Packers/Bears

Some games transcend others.

Beating the Habs is always special
I guess to each their own. I don't see beating Montreal as being any different than beating another team. A win is a win. They'll beat Tampa next game, and that one will have more meaning than beating a a mostly mediocre Montreal team.

This statement is factually incorrect.

Beating the Habs matters. Every. Time.

There are about a dozen people in the game day thread who need to be taken down to the Pulp Fiction basement.
Names please. This is a safe space.

This is not a safe space.

Great comeback but an absolutely horrible start that they won't be able to get back from very often. I give them credit for not giving up but without Woll, the score might have been 8-7 for the Habs. Woll was outstanding in the third period, one of the best efforts of the season. OEL scoring was a big plus, he finally hit the net on a shot. I really liked McMann's hustle all game. Nylander is a helluva player when he wants to be.

Having said that, this team has problems. Nevermind not having any effort in the first, there are a couple of players who are awful. Any Rielly pairing got caved very often. Timmins very weak defensively. Reaves absolutely useless again. It says alot that he was hit hard and his response the rest of the game was....nothing.

Damn, I forgot they had Hutson. I didn't notice him at all. Odd, isn't he support to be the next Lidstrom?

OEL's two passes for goals rrrrrrrreally made up for his last sleepy game with those 2 penalties leading to 2 goals in NJ.... He had some great poise offensively tonight..... Let's hope OEL can become the old/new Rielly..! Lmaooooo..
