Post-Game Talk: Leafs Win 7-2 against Philly

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

I sure do, but also have the freedom to say LoLaughton has been garbage since coming here, of course I hope he pans out, but right now not sure how you can defend that trade
Because Grebenkin is playing regularly in the AHL and the draft hasn't happened.
Leafs got a 4th and a 6th for Grebs.

When Toronto has no cap space you have to offer more in order for a team to retain 50%.

I would say Matthews dogged backchecking was evident. He won a lot of puck battles in all three zones. Marner was as invisible as he could be. I'll take it... no turnovers, no laziness. Knies was good yup, didn't get rewarded too much for it though.

I thought the D were also all pretty good. Tanev was fighting the puck all night, but got the job done. Too bad Rielly's goal didn't count... he can use any and all positiveness.
Ya.. Matthews played hard, and was defensively decent. But nothing on the offensive side was working tonight. Knies did get two points.

Missed the game, glad they won big.

*Moneypuck has the Flyers at 63% on their 'deserve to win O'meter', how does that happen?
*Knies led the F group with 17:15 TOI. Good to see nobody overworked.
*All four lines played more than 10 min. I would have liked to see Berube look at something different. There has to be some combination that offers more in the bottom 6.

Time for the next, keep 'er going, eh.

Moneypuck was wrong and not close.

Moneypuck where a team gets out to a huge lead roles 4 lines and coasts to a win and loses the deserve to win o'meter every time.

Shouldn't it technically be FLA?

Tied in points and RWs but FLA leads the head-to-head.

Anyway, this was a satisfying win. I want to see more of the same against the Sharks and Ducks. Go full throttle. No mercy.

Nope Leafs own the ROW tiebreaker.

and It's not particularly close 42 to 38.
