It's crazy to see these 3 teams this late in the season so tight.
Leafs play Florida 2 x and Tampa 1x
You win all those and you should basically win the division.
I hate saying they're big games or playoff games before they are... but these have big implications.
They need to win those ones.
I could see it going down to the last week forsure.

Would have been a bigger win if Marner and his thuggish ways didn’t get in the way.
Kidding aside, glad to see an easier night where the fans had fun (people still do the Wave????), and no one got hurt.

Second line had to sacrifice for the third line instead of starting from the top
Win 8 of next 11 and that should be enough for the division. Seven of 11 might get it done but that's probably dicey. I figure one more win will all but assure a playoff spot, although, there's a distinct possibility that a playoff team will get in with less than 90 points.

I would be very surprised if it comes down to a tiebreaker. The leafs should finish several points ahead of Florida and Tampa.

Won a game we should. Willy was flying early so you knew he was going to have a good night. Laughton showed a pulse but still no value there yet. Tavares’ contract is aging well, he had jump. Tanev had a tough time keeping his feet but makes up for it in other ways. Have to beat SJ and Anaheim, no excuses.
