The great lines in NHL history, The French Connection, the KLM line, Triple Crown & The Legion of Doom among others are now proud to add the latest entry to their ranks:

Domi-McMann-Robertson (official moniker still TBD, suggestions welcome)

Destined to go down as one of the greats. They can do it all. Speed, scoring ... and scoring. Well, they can score.

Legends in the making.

Didn't think Murray was very good tonight particularly on the 2nd goal, I think Murray got VERY lucky seeing as he let in 5 but only 3 counted.

On a related note CLUTCH goalie inference challenge by Berube that won the game, if that goes the other way I think they lose.

Another strong game by Domi and McMann, kind of 50/50 on Robertson tonight, he did score but then proceeded to give that goal back IMMEDIATELY.

Marner, Matthews, Nylander, Tavares, Patches, and Rielly all with at least 1 point.

Pp 1/3 PK was perfect.

Overall a sloppy win but you get away with it because It's Buffalo.

2 points out of 1st in the East.

3 points out of 1st in the NHL.

It's worth stating, credit to Reilly for sticking up for his teammates also. If this team doesn't stand up for one another they are in trouble.

Regardless of legality of hits etc, teammates just have to remind opponents that you don't go after your stars.

Friedman, shut the fcuk up.

Guy has been whining about Rielly and the instigator rule since the 1st intermission.

Go smoke a tampon already, you fcuking poof. Holy shit.

His anti-Leaf shtick is a bit weird. He used to be the best of the bunch on Sportsnet (not saying much). Now he's become a worse version of Dreger who tries to be a contrarian with anything related to the Leafs.

League better watch out if this third line is the real deal. I have my doubts they’ll last but loving the look at the moment.

Only a matter of time until matthews gets going as well.

He does that often. Really one of the heart and soul guys on the team. Imagine our stars had that same attitude.

Decent win against a struggling team that seems to have everything going against them.

Murray managed the win, made a few good saves but looked shakey for sure.

Matthews and Knies are struggling right now. Working hard, but things not falling for them 5-on-5. Marner carrying them, but it's a heavy lift.

2nd line was good. 3rd line was excellent. 4th line was decent.

Kampf has been good since returning, he was clearly playing hurt. Moving well and being disruptive on the PK and defensively in general.

Thought Timmins and Benoit struggled quite a bit tonight.

BUF got a couple nice bounces that kept this game close. I bet they win one within the next four (lol).

To be fair, first NHL game in like a year.
Got the job done. Will be better next time.

He isn't a light weight so even if he isnt a fighter, he can send a message. He needs to IMO. These messages bond teams together in an "us vs them mentality". It is very powerful be it ni war or a far more meaningless game of hockey. Matthews always takes the time to stick tap the player every time a teammate stands up for him. He appreciates it, it never goes unnoticed obviously.

McMann is so awesome. He’s a monster for this team.
I saw it in him last year. He came out of nowhere and sold me on his game. Has power forward written on his forehead and is deceptively quick. You win Cups with such players. The more power forwards the better.

Nice to see some depth scoring but that 3rd line seems to give up as much as it gets.
Enjoy the third line now, because it won't exist in this form come the first round of the playoffs. They would get absolutely eviscerated in a playoff series.

Happy for Murray but I hope Stolarz is back soon. I know it was his first game in a long time but he was shaky. Good thing 2/5 pucks that got behind him were called back.

Yeah, but how nice would it be if Matthews threw down. He’s such a big guy and he does het physical. I get it’s not the smartest decision but I feel like it would go a long way with the fans and the rest of the team.

The McMann-Domi-Robertson line was great.

Patches-Tavares-Nylander was solid as well.

I like that all three of the top 3 lines have a shooter, playmaker and power forward.

Not sure how we are going to get Matthews-Marner going. They are shockingly non existent 5 on 5.
