That you made it out that ‘even Matthews’ doesn’t usually block shots but did. When he’s lead the team in blocked shots for years (as a forward).

My statement wasn't a bad thing. I said it like that because the original poster was making it seem like the team wasn't blocking shots, hitting etc. so I was pointing out that even the big time stars were doing just that.

not sure losing in the first round has anything to do with a two month grind.

Two weeks doesn't equal two months -- wow, that's deep.

and why wouldn't a team's ability to withstand playoff grind and pressures end up being reflected in the stats?
