Win on Wednesday and it's our first two game lead in a second round series since 1987!

Considering how much whining Maurice did in 2023 during and after game 1 and how it impacted the series I'm happy the players and coach are calling the league out. Berube doesn't whine about reffing much. Panthers refusing to make Bennett available to media and Maurice walking out isn't a good look.

As for Bennett, if the league doesn't do something then get ritribution yourself.

Willie is a beast again.

The team played well but AM and MM needs to be better.

Going to give Woll a pass as he came in mid game but he needs to be much better if he plays Game 2.

Hope Stollie is okay.

Lastly, can’t go 0-5 in PP and expects to win.

The power play can't be 0% long-term, personally I'm thrilled that we managed to break through for five even strength goals, those are the much harder goals to score. That can't last forever either, and when it dries up, hopefully that's right about when the power play clicks.

Jets fan here, wow I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a Leafs fan, but after seeing that crap Bennett did to Stolarz (and I'm a goalie and I do think that Stolarz is a really good goalie) I hope you guys beat the Panthers. Such a cheap shot, he knew EXACTLY what he was doing on that play. No penalty? Are you kidding me? The NHL really needs to put something in place for a coach to challenge a play like that on the ice, no need for that shit to happen especially to a goalie who has been playing great all season!

Matthews and Marner need to find another level.

Disagree on the Stolarz being injured long term makes them screwed. Woll was put into a really tough spot, hasn't played in 18 days, came in cold, then took another 20 min break and had to play come crunch time. I'd expect him to be a lot better with warm up/game day routine.

Matthews and Marner indeed do need to step up, WIlly was the guy today that carried them, but going 0-5 on the powerplay is unacceptable in a playoff game.

Liked Toronto first 40 mins, dislike the last 20. As soon as FLA scored that early on in the period, you knew Toronto was going to be on it's heels.

suspensions are clearly not deterring players like Bennet so why keep using them? Switch to financial penalties. You do stuff like that you lose 25% of your salary.

I am often a marner hater. But, outside of a couple muffin passes and not finishing checks hard, I thought he actually had a very good game. 34 missed too many Grade A++ chances and that just can't happen if we are going to win this series

Laughton line did not look as good as they did against the sens. I am expecting a big Game 2 from that Line
