Do think Bennett gets a suspension since Ekblad got two games after not getting a penalty in the game. Kind of set a precedent that League will suspend players even if the refs didn’t call a penalty on the infraction.

What I despise is people always needing something to be mad about and looking for reasons to be mad and relentlessly putting down our players.

So, where is the line between criticism and "pulling the players down"?

Now I can see why Bruins fans and Lightning fans dislike the Panthers so much.

I thought the team was a bit dirty but mostly just a tough, gritty team with playoff savvy and a winning pedigree.

But some of these guys are straight up dirty. Marchand fits right in.

I really hope that team does not repeat. Don't want teams across the League mimicking their antics.

Leafs are well adjusted in getting the right punishment for their dirty plays, usually well over the precedence. It's rarely ever tilted back in their favour.

Nylander got this started. Woll hasn't played in awhile and was thrown into the fire against a desperate Florida team. One of the goals I can blame on him. If he were mentally and physically prepared, he probably doesn't give up that goal and they win 5-3.

Knies is money and he is going to be the next Gary Roberts in a couple of years.

Leafs PP MUST improve. MUST. I don't care if Berube needs to change it up but 0 for 5 is the reason this was close. They have to pay for dirty play.

Leafs are the heaviest team in the league this year. They aren't going to lose in the alley anymore but they need to strike when they have the PP.

I don’t think coaching is a major factor for a team to win the Cup like nomatter who is coaching the Hawks this year, they ain’t winning the Cup. But when it comes to winning in playoffs, the margins are razor thin and all little advantages and disadvantages will add up at the end.
Coach B is much better dealing with medias and in game situations than Keefe ever did.

suspensions are clearly not deterring players like Bennet so why keep using them? Switch to financial penalties. You do stuff like that you lose 25% of your salary.

Is anyone honestly surprised by the Panthers actions? It was going to happen.

Buds need to stay focused and play hard between the whistles.

They need to regroup on Woll and be ready for Florida to come out looking to hit everything and anything in game 2.

Execution under pressure and remaining composed is going to be key.

Also felt went that had the 4-1 lead they were getting a bit too fancy making an extra pass to get a goal. f*** around and find out. They almost did tonight.

Hopefully Florida’s comeback keeps the fire lit under their ass that they need to keep the tempo up. Bob is beatable, but they need to keep getting traffic in front.
