Slow starts aren't fun but the group is confident and offense is coming around.

Near perfect third period until they played a bit timid in with the net empty. But can't complain too much about how they shut it down.

Woll was good again as well. Probably should have had the second goal but picked himself up with that breakaway save which turned the game around.

Love seeing that third line roll .. Confidence is huge and Domi/Robby scoring is needed. Robby had some awesome jump. If he can start doing that more regularly, that's the kid we were hoping for.

McMann is quite underrated for what he brings. Size, speed, physicality, two-way game, and scoring ability.

I like that Berube is giving AM, Marner, and Willy time together. If they can learn to grind more, which they did tonight, instead of trying fancy passes that actually might really help them on the PP and when the net is empty. Glad Berube is giving them some rope. Trying all combos. Team needed a mix up.

Tavares continue to work his ass of.. That assist on the empty netter was stellar to seal the game.

Third line drove the play.

McCabe unsung hero this game. Woll excellent.

Matthews, what is going on with this guy?
This year is playing out exactly like 2022-23

through 22 games this year:
22GP 10G 11A 21P 94shots

through 22 games 2022-2023
22GP 09G 12A 21P 92shots

it's almost exactly the same

i expect him to get hot, but not much better than that seasons finishbut it looks like this is going to be another year of defence, goaltending, and marner

Matthews play is highly concerning honestly. He doesn't even look like half the player he was last season.
Exactly how I feel. Matthews is bringing down his linemates right now. He's a shell of his normal self. I believe he will bring down anyone he plays with until he figures something out. I do think it's something physically wrong though and out of his control.

That was an ugly win, but it got better a bit as the game went on

That was nylanders first two point game in almost a month…f***ing keep getting those points now

Woll was solid, shaky 2nd goal but overall great

This is Nicolas Robertson, the guy in the first 20 game was Ricolas Nobertson who’s greatest inspiration was Pontus Aberg.

Reckless NObertson...classic.
