😅. It started with a $100 Superbowl bet. And I made a killing on Canada during 4 nations.

Since then I'm 5-21 making small sensible bets and 9-0 when shipping the whole bankroll lol

I drink too much too, finding another hobby helps. Although if you're a hardcore leafs or habs fan, it's definitely not easy lol

I went to sleep hoping for the best.
Great outcome, Utah are actually not a bad team.

Got the win against a team fighting for their playoff lives in their own barn. Teams like that are all going to be dangerous down the stretch and Utah has wins over both the Caps and Jets not long ago so it's not like they arnt a threat.

Gonna be lots of these games down the stretch.
 
So easy to be negative. Most of the team hasn’t been home in over a month. Ebbs and flows. See what the next game brings. Let’s pretend Utah isnt fighting for their playoff lives.
 
Laughton is terrible.

He's not a capable centre. He reminds me of Kerfoot and Domi. The fact Philly had him playing wing should've been a major red flag for Treliving.

That trade is looking like a real stinker.

The never ending story of not being able to play a full sixty minutes appears to be alive and well in Leafsland. When you have players who are easy to play against you can't hold leads. And if they can't hold back bad teams like San Jose or Utah what are they gonna do against real cup contenders.

I hope Berube threw a couple chairs around the dressing room after the game and bag skates these chumps first thing this morning.

It's a tough look dropping leads from lack of effort. They have yet to show the fortitude to withstand a desperate pushback from a desperate team. Which is exactly what they'll be facing a few weeks from now.

There's no shootout in the playoffs.

The team won. There is no need for a punishment regime.
 
The Leafs need to turn it around quickly. Great they got the win. But if you put this team in the playoff mixer, they are not good enough. The lines need adjusted big time.

Berube doesn't know how lol. He moves someone for 30 seconds and puts it back. I don't think he can coach this group. They needed a Cooper and brought in this guy.

Leafs still can't stitch together a coherent team template. The choices are always bad. They don't know what they want period, total mess.

Hard coach
Soft core
Defensive minded coaching staff
Offensive minded core
Anti fighting organization
Fighting coach wants guys like Reaves
Preach rational cap expenditure
Overpay forwards and load for offense

The team is run by basketcases

Saw a lot of players on Utah that I would take here happily.

I’m good with Carlo but we couldn’t have gotten any of those guys instead of the Laughton trade?

Still early days and hoping Laughton can be what we need him to be.

Laughton maybe better than Domi, not much, and is not a difference maker on O, on D or in toughness. He just another home town boy.
 
I said they would start another winning streak by taking this one in OT. Shootout is close enough. They will roll off a bunch of wins in a row now just to irritate all of you.
 
Started off good, then after two goals in 49 seconds they went shell shocked and looked awful after.

I don't see how Chief system is going to allow them to score more goals come playoff time, constantly collapsing in there own zone and letting the play come to them. They no longer make plays, everything is just flip the puck out or gain the redline and dump it in, and let the team reset and come back at them.

Very frustrating.

They need to find a balance. Somewhere between Keefe and Chief’s system is the right medium.

If players aren't available, no, you can't get them.

Second goal for me clearly showing what goes wrong right now...

2 player goes on the same player
Jt made gave ul and fantastic effort to backcheck AND....... you've got Nylander uninterested to be there and just let him sliding. Just give 1-2 slide to back check, passing lane to Maatta would never be there and this goal would never happened. That's exactly the type of reason i'm hard on him and it's about 1 play or 1 game, he played that way last 5 game... When his team fighting for 1st spot and where he should be a team leader...
