When I saw McD getting the puck in OT and see he skated right at MM, I thought, OH F.
Then when Drai skated at JT, I thought, OH F.
Then when MM was on a 2 on 1, I thought, just shoot MM.

Good game today. The boys fought hard and a very structure game again, esp killing that Reaves Major.

Not sure how no one is mentioning the fact that McDavid absolutely launched Tavares’ stick up the ice and caused the tying goal. That’s an obvious penalty.

Cuthbert and Simpson were completely oblivious to it, which is par for the course for those two mouth breathers.

People were complaining about the flow but it was a playoff style game. Leafs defense was strong against a very good offensive transition.

Don't sleep on Stolarz, he had a stellar game.

McMann is starting to hit his stride, playing the game that I knew Berube would appreciate.

You grind it out, get to the coin flip OT gimmick and hope you get the chance.

The goal by Marner was exactly what he should be doing more of (Domi too). Goalie will always be cheating on the pass with the 2 on 1 as they are pass-first players. Thus, you have to rifle that 75% of the time. I've been saying since his first season he needs to shoot more.

In fact, I haven't seen the replay but I'm sure Skinner cheated and got burnt.
