Post-Game Talk: Leafs win 4-2

We held them to mostly random shots, and some point shots, but the offence didn’t even try to test nedeljovic. I get we are up, but that doesn’t mean you should completely turtle up and give the wings everything

Disagree, we easily could have / should have scored 2 more goals in the 3rd.

Very very solid win, not perfect defending in the 3rd period, but if you had the gold standard for this team with their top 3 D out, you should just go outside and punch yourself in the face for stupidity.
 
I didn't see the whole game but we looked kinda sloppy. Detroit pressured quite a bit but Murray was fantastic. Honestly even when it got to 4-2 and they were pressing I just knew Murray wouldn't give up a back breaker. So refreshing "goalie-ing" another team for a change.

That was the best stylistic game of the year. Finally we crashed the net, drove the net, screened the goalie, shots while the goalies screened and we threw some hits.

End the perimeter hockey and play like this every game. Fantastic.
 
Pretty much took the night off and walked away with a comfortable win.
DET goaltending was outright terrible. Murray was excellent... again.
We struggled with the DET forecheck for periods of time, but were opportunistic offensively.
Seemed to completely shut'er down once we got up 4-1. Would like to see the deserve-to-win-o-meter for this one.

Yea, we could’ve scored 2 or 3 more goals, out of the 12 total we put on in the second half. We had 6 total shots in the 3rd We played defensively sound, but we gave them too much possession. I guess some of that has to do with score effects, but also we tried turtling a bit too much.

Never said that. Sure its 4-0, but we could be winning games even more convincing with a trade right? Would certainly rid myself of kerfoot if tue opportunity was there.
