I’m really liking our defensive play lately along with our ability to play in close games. We’ve done well which is impressive.

Whats impressive is we sit 6th overall in the NHL, and yes your right solid defensive play is a big reason.

Nashville were the hottest team in the NHL going into this game 8-1-1, and we just beat them 3-0. We had some secondary scoring, our top guys were good, we stuck up for ourselves and our goalie was great. Not much to complain about.

I am so proud of this team. This is how you need to play to win playoff games. Jack might be my Fav leaf and may be the reason why everyone is working harder. When your goalie is your best player the stars have no choice but to try to out shine him.

Kaše and Kampf are my favorite of the new additions. Really respectful defensively as witnessed by Kaše blocking a shot at the end, but also on the penalty kill. Not just that, their 5 on 5 play has been really good. Great cheap pickups by Dubas, I'll give him credit where it is due.

I'm disappointed that Ritchie continues to be promoted when his play has been nothing but detrimental to the team. Takes a dumb penalty, every time he touches the puck, the play ends up dead. I think they should take Ritchie and Engvall out of the lineup and put someone else in... anyone. Can't stand either one of them.

Leafs played a pretty complete game, no one can complain. Campbell didn't have a very busy night, but his save percentage will probably creep to over .940% on the season with this third shutout. Fantastic attitude, fantastic goaltender.
