Tavares loved that spot in NY, and Matthews is great at tips/deflections

Honestly he's scarier now, he didn't used to shoot this much. Him zeroing in on making the most of what he still has as a slower pace threat from distance and controlling pucks on the wall is an upgrade for what we need from him.

Really impressed with the Leafs. We've seen them come back late in the game, but just sticking to the game plan and system and waiting for the chances is really impressive. The poise and patience makes the team look like veterans.

We definitely miss Marner a lot. Hopefully he's okay and is back soon.
