I have not watched much this season (this is my first time tuning in in the 1st period.) I have to agree with many here... Holl looks atrocious. Seems to be playing from his butt alot.

I wonder if Muzzin getting a bit older/slower means he's not able to cover for Holl as much and it's affecting both of them.

The little bit I've seen of Lil this season he's looked good.

Is Foligno going to get suspended for coming back off the ice?

He was leaving the ice, got both feet off the ice and straddled the half boards, and then when the hoopla started, he jumped back on the ice. Technically no one came on the ice to replace him, so it's not likely we will see any suspension.

Holl’s inability to move the puck leads to possession for the other team.
Eventually goals will result.
Brodie doesn’t move the puck well either but he makes up for it defensively.

Holl’s playing sloppy. Looks like a guy who thinks he’s achieved a certain status in the league and is a little too comfy and casual in situations. There was that one random shift last week when he was pirouetting back on defense and never got body positioning never got the puck and I think it resulted in a odd man rush.

The Wild like ourselves have been kinda mediocre for quite some time, but they drafted okay, made some nice acquisitions, and are playing a playoff hockey game tonight..

We need a game like this...

And a few more, so we don't just play one kind of hockey...

Life is for many people, certainly myself about constantly reinventing myself...

The Wild players have bought into the Fred Shero style of play and you know what, that gets the local fan base into a frenzy, sells tickets and we have to come out and try to win back the momentum.

Ain't going to be easy, they smell blood.,

FUGK, if I had a team with a cool name, in a state that has some great hunting, I would have carved out a team like this from the first year they came into the league...

I like the way the Wild play.... They are definitely UP, for the win here.,

Its getting truly embarrassing seeing Holl play every game. We were better when he sat. He’s just terrible. Period

Agree, but the screen didn’t cause the goal. Holl had a man tied up.

I don't think Soup got a clean look at it - he was just trying to get his body infront of the shot and look big hoping he got most of it - it bounces around his legs and pops out to Greenway on the back door.

Just a sloppy play all around.

Seems like the key point here is he left the ice and not that no one took his spot. I would suspend him a la David Clarkson for jumping back onto the ice to join a fight that was monetarily beginning.

One of those guys you hate to play against but love to have on your team

There's a way to take them off their game too. One of the few times fire with fire works. They just need to be smart about it and sucker them into penalties.

Muzzin hasn't played well with anybody this year. He's had a few moments but he's looked below average so far.

I do wonder if they trade him after this season. Cup winner, good reputation around the league, plays physical. Could probably get a mid round first minimum for him. Then would have Rielly, Sandin, Dermott as our LD. His cap would pay for Campbell's raise and likely someone elses as well.

That’s a good analysis, unfortunately it all started so innocently.

I don't have a problem with what Foligno did (nor do I think he's a dirty player), I think it's fine...

but it comes down to what the rulebook says, which isn't written that well in the first place.

Yeah I would like someone to provide clarity on the rule of leaving the ice and then getting back on (even if one of your teammates hasn't replaced you) with the intention of fighting.

Gotta be something in the rule book covering this...
