Hyman was better defensively and provided more value on the PK. Bunting is a better pest and better offensive player. I also think Mitch and Matthews are on absolute heaters right now.

They say Sam Kinison didn't make jokes until a car accident as a child changed his personality. Did Muzzins hit in practice turn Marner into a goal scorer

And yes I know in Kinisons case he later passed away in a car accident

I think Matthews has stepped his game up this year, not trying to diminish Hyman. There are multiple factors at play. But, I love the Bunting deal, and as much as I liked Hyman, I'm glad we didn't sign that deal (as it likely costs us Rielly long-term).
