Of all the major North American sports, the nhl has done a horrible job in comparison in diversifying. A much higher percentage of hockey players are "white guys" compared to the nhl, mlb, nba.

I guess they're trying their damndest to address it. But it just feels too heavy handed and simply isn't entertaining.

No reasonable person disagrees with the idea but can we not just watch the friggin game and analysis

First period very ho-hum so far. Leafs can play a lot better. Habs need to be mindful of that in the 2nd and 3rd and start pushing the pace.
