Montreal laid an egg against Edmonton, I fully expect them to come out swinging and take the W. We can't win them all, this feels like one we let slip.

Ottawa can beat anybody in the division if they under estimate them. They fire 33 shots on net a game and work you hard. I kind of respect their team effort every game. I expect full trap system coming shortly there. Hard working team.

With the next 3 games against ottawa, a win tonight puts an early, but solid stranglehold on the division.
Even if the leafs lat 3 eggs against ottawa, they probably still come away with 4 points against a taoentless team like ottawa.

after two consecutive losses for the scabs i expect they will trap the hell outta the game tonight. They hardly had even one forechecker last game this time around I expect they wont forecheck and just line up in the middle of the ice.
Either our offense will get frustrated and will give away the puck feeding the transition with speed for the scabs or somehow we get a lucky bounce and scabs start to get uncomfortable
Hopefully boys remain patient and do not force the pucks or give away the puck trying to force offense. Trust your system and your ability to score and we got this!
P.S. Tavares do NOT try to do shit on your own and give away the puck trying to go through 3 guys; if there is no pass just dump the freakin puck in or pass it back to your D. Thanks!

Looking forward to Papi continuing to lay the body on Chariot. I'd love if he just picked a Dman from each team and made them his personal target for that each night, which he seems to have already done with Chariot on the Habs and Juolevi on the Nucks.
Anyway from the last team practice interviews it looks like Nylander has noticed he hasn't been shooting the puck enough and will look to shoot more going forward. Him and Tavares just haven't been clicking with each other much lately so I hope him looking to shoot more changes something up and we can get the second line firing on all cylinders

The irony of the GDT maker is that should the Leafs lose it would lend credence to the support its accuracy.
Lets hope that doesn't happen and Leafs establish they're the ones to prove they're the kings of the North and the team to beat coming out of this all CDN Div.
Its likely Toronto and Montreal will battle all season for the top 2 spots however Leafs have a chance today to put more daylight between spots #1 and #2
Nothing feels better than beating the arch rival Habs on HNIC on Saturday night.
