Our depth offense sucks and when our main guys cant do anything we struggle hard

Get a superstar winger for cheap and a solid top 9 winger and we have strong offensive players to replace the engvals/Kerfoots/Mikheyevs

The main guys take half the cap. Of course we lack depth.

At what point is the leafs inability to capitalize on their chances a very serious problem that should be addressed? During the 8 game slump, the leafs capitalized on a lower percentage of their chances than any other team in the nhl in that stretch. It was also a MASSIVE problem in the Columbus series last year. We keep calling it "running into a hot goalie"... but at what point do we acknowledge it's a much deeper problem?
