I have zero use for Joey Anderson, he shows nothing. Neither does ZAR, but atleast he's physical.

The ZAR, Holmberg, McMann line was great last game. Keep running with that.

ZAR also has a solid stick defensively, he’s good at making little one hand swipes at the other team’s puck carrier.

Anderson brings more in the offensive zone, but his skating stride is just so ugly it feels like he’s always chasing the play. Doesn’t seem to have great balance on his feet either. Tbh I’ve really hated Anderson in years past, but his call up earlier this year was at least the best I’ve seen him look… so I don’t mind giving him another chance, still don’t think he’s an NHL player though

I wouldn't say they've been great against them from what I can remember the past few years but I think they've won a couple.

I found some page online... looks like we're 2-5 against them since 2020... not sure about OT losses though.

Still would be nice to see the Leafs beat them up.

Yeah figured there was a couple OT losses in there. So leafs haven't been brutal. Fairly close. Need some puck luck tonight.

They have some pretty good forwards with one of the top goalies.

Lots of shots on net and rebounds. Get the goalie moving side to side.

Should be a good tilt.

To be honest, I haven’t been excited about Anderson at all. Whenever he’s been called up, he never really looks fully engaged. Especially for someone that’s fighting for a roster spot.

This feels an awful lot like looking at who are viable bottom 6 players we can win with.

Dubas does his major deals before TDL, end of January/early-mid February.

Feels like he and Keefe want to know their options, and it feels like Kerfoot and/or Engvall are options to be moved, particularly Kerfoot lately.

Maybe something, probably nothing but it sure seems like an awful lot of "let's see what we have here" tinkering.

I'm a Kerfoot defender most years, but find him awful this year.

He expends great energy to accomplish... NOTHING!

I believe he will be the one in the net, no reason not to. Also Adam Fox has been on a bit of a tear of late it seems too.

I don't worry about players on tears. I worry about players who are in slumps, as we seem to be great opponents to end slumps against.....

Hoping for the best, but the Rangers play us well, are skilled, fast and physical. Their goalies tend to go God-mode against us well.

Anderson was actually solid during the 7 game stint. His line generally controlled play and created chances, and he kept battling along the boards and in the corners to maintain possession. He also drew a couple of penalties. I don't understand the hate, but maybe I'm biased because I've always liked his game. Can't be worse than ZAR lol
