Leafs. Carolina vs Florida and Edmonton vs Dallas seems so much like the league is on a hamster wheel of the same teams. The Leafs in the Eastern Conference Final feels alien, in a good way. I wonder if some fans out there could even accept it

Its not that I have anything against the team personally but it's bad enough hearing nothing but their nonsense while they're still losing. We have heard nothing except 1967 since 1967 and the fans act like its something to brag about 13 cups to teams that weren't even in the league till after that.
They think they've got the legacy of the Habs and are desperate to be New York when there already is a Second City.

So excuse me if I want nothing from the leaves except to see them burn.

I've nothing against Florida except Bure. And Luongo acting like that's where he's played his best years. Maybe I'll move there one day. I hear it's nice and warm with good beaches.

While Leafs constantly losing in game 7's is funny it's really getting old by now. I don't care enough or against either team to really root for anyone per se but Leafs breaking this curse would be something new.

Its more of the opposite for me, I think it gets more funny every time it happens.

I dont really like Marchand, but when he went to the Panthers that cemented my fandom of them for this season. I find it hilarious how they have unquestionably assembled the most rat starpower in the NHL and are currently the NHLs all-rat team also leading the league in rats per capita. I love how easy they are to hate and how many hockey fans dislike them.
