Matthews plays so lazily with Marner. Just hangs around waiting for Mitch to pass him the puck. And Mitch is so predictable, you know he's going to try and pass it to Matthews. Kind of hard to split them up because of the chemistry between Nylander and Tavares

Nylander looks like a mini Forsberg with his power skill moves these days. Doesn’t throw the old reverse check or lay the body but those low center of gravity cuts, one handing the puck, etc. It’s so Foppa.

I'd say they're lucky to come out of that period tied. Lost the majority of the puck battles. Sloppy with the puck. 2 lucky goals. Just an ugly period.
