It would have been lilijgren but hes gone now

Now really no options to replace them

RAfai, Myers, Benning are all worse then them and arent NHL players

We need to acquire a good bottom pairing D-man later this year
Lilly isn’t as good as Timmins at this point and Timmins isn’t anything special. Package Timmins and Robertson and you might be able to upgrade, but doubtful……..

Including tonight, the next 10 games should give us a better picture of what this team is.

A lot of winnable games and couple of potentially good matchups. Next week has BOS, Det, TToE followed up with OTT.

Unfortunately, our past suggest that these "winnable" games, are often the ones we blow. These are the games we NEED to win. They need to be PROS, and win the vast majority of these games against inferior teams.

Yep. Every single year it's the same story, slow out of the gate dropping games against 'bad' teams, before going on a November heater that stops around Christmas, playing mid hockey in the winter then going on another late season heater and firmly finishing in the #3 divisional seed. And most often it is because of leaving points on the table against shit teams. They went 1-3 against Ottawa last season and I believe 0-1-2 against CBJ (and we've been blown out once by them already this year too) for example.

From Nick Barden

Maple Leafs present at optional morning skate:Forwards: Domi, McMann, Robertson, Lorentz, Reaves, DewarDefence: Tanev, Myers, HakanpaaGoalies: Stolarz

Joseph Woll isn’t on the ice for the Maple Leafs’ optional morning skate. Anthony Stolarz is in the away goal, meaning Woll is the projected starter against Seattle.

I'd be going with Woll for this one. Glad to hear Robertson should be in the lineup.

I'm looking for Timmins to have a good game. Moving Liljegren out is a clear vote of confidence in him, he better deliver. He should be high on confidence right now.

Thank god you don’t GM then. Keefe was an idiot for playing some of those bums in the playoffs and was fired for a lack of playoff success.
Yes I 100% agree

Sheldon keefe got fired because he chose to play some number 4-6’s over a #7

It wasn’t totally because his style of offence produced almost nothing, with his special teams being horrible, and his inability to get the core 4 to work in the playoffs.

lol, if those guys are bums, Liljegren is the diarrhea that comes out of bums
