Our record is a lot better with Hutch and Campbell in net and Holl has been one of our better defensemen this season. He’s boring but he’s usually pretty good defensively and makes the right play. It’s not his best moment but calling him a number 6 is a stretch. His improvements are a big reason why the team looks a lot more stable this season and at the end of last season.

It feels like the leafs are horrible at converting on their high danger chances. Absolutely horrible. This gets hidden by the fact that they've had so bloody many high danger chances in most games this year.

I've often questioned if it's "facing a hot goaltender", or "the leafs just can't finish...making opposing goalies look better than they are."

Yup, can't expect a goalie to make a save. All teams score on 100% of high danger chances, thats why all game are double digit scorers.

I’ll say it again, I’m not entirely comfortable with him in the playoffs, he’s the biggest question mark. That said this began with two goals let in and it seemed lazy as to why. He does need to make some big saves, no question.

Your issue is you've been hoodwinked into thinking goalies don't make great saves regularly.
