I know the Bunting-Matthews-Marner line is money but can we at least TRY Marner with Tavares for a bit? Tavares and Marner have chemistry. Matthews and Nylander did at one time as well. The 2nd line produces nothing and is actually a liability at times.

Nylander is sinking that line. Tavares would work best with Knies-Robertson esque wingers but obviously they are not ready for that.

The amount of times Nylander pre-emptively gives up on plays in the o-zone kills all of the work JT does. Not to mention the frequent missed assignments back checking that don't always end up in the net.

There's been a serious regression of effort level from him going on 2-3 months. Makes me wonder if there's something internal or if this is just who he is at this point.
