If we sweep both games in regulation during this weekend, we win the division for sure. The bolts can catch us in points if they win all of their remaining games but we hold all the tiebreakers over them( RW, ROW and we won the season series record head to head -we were 4-0 against them this season)Montreal will be on a back to back so hopefully they are exhausted and we wrap up the division with a win
Got a hungry Montreal team coming in tomorrow that’s starting to feel the pressure. They’ll be going balls to the wall so the Leafs better be ready to match their energy.
I sure hope not. Let Montreal have the game. Tampa is not catching Toronto regardless of the outcome of this game.Got a hungry Montreal team coming in tomorrow that’s starting to feel the pressure. They’ll be going balls to the wall so the Leafs better be ready to match their energy.
Columbus plays the Caps at 12:30 tomorrow. A regulation loss for CBJ and the Habs will clinch ~4 hours before game time.Yeah they’re going to be desperate to clinch tomorrow after blowing it tonight; especially against us. Gotta bring a full effort.
So, what are you saying ACC, hoping for a Habs win here??I’m in Montreal next weekend so secretly hoping the Habs catch the Sens and I can catch the Leafs game 1 vs the Habs after Easter dinner.
with 5 dman i'd put jarnkrok at d lol
don't get injured, and win

The panthers are a lost cause anyway as it’s impossible for them to won’t catch us in points and in the standings, they can only accumulate 102 points maximum( by comparison, the leafs right now have 100 points already ) and that’s only if they win their all of their remaining three games. So it’s not even a guaranteed outcome, the probability of it happening is low.

That's exactly it. We are talented but neither fast nor physical. We match up terribly with the Panthers. They somehow own Florida.
Possibly their speed allows them to break free from Florida's unrelenting fforecheck
You don't think an arch rival that has played us very hard all season will get up for the playoffs against us?I'd rather face OTT than anyone else in round 1. The Sens are just happy to be at the dance, so I don't expect them to put up much of a fight.
Destroy MTL in this game and keep the #1 spot locked up, and keep MTL as the #2 seed. Perfection.
One of the craziest things about the Habs this season, is their record against the Atlantic division ( 18 - 6 )

Name the list of teams in the NHL that have actual fanbases just to know.
I think any combination of Leafs points won + Tampa points lost = 5 clinches it for the Leafs. One would think they would want to lock it up quickly so they can rest some players next week.Leafs need any combination for 3 Leafs wins or 3 Tampa losses to clinch top spot, hope the Leafs take this game seriously , like its a playoff game and play tight ...but we know they probably won't show up.
