I’d be surprised if Marner had any interest of moving on from the leafs. He was a leaf fan growing up and appears to have a rather hefty ego. Imagine the appeal to someone like that of one day being considered (based on points) one of the “great” leafs of all time. It will be irresistible.

I'd argue this is the best D corp we've had in this run. I'd argue this is the best goalie tandem we've had in this run. I can't buy into the total doom and gloom just yet, we aren't playing well, but there are better elements here that suggest a chance for a run.
