I'm not confident we can beat the Red Wings in a 7 game series.
Steeves has played a good game... not sure what the hype is around him.
Holmberg also doesn't need to be playing 2nd line, but Nylander is terrible defensively so that's likely why he is there right now.
I'd prefer moving Robertson up to the 2nd line, he has by far the most potential there.

Ya, the second line wasn’t part of the discussion at all. It was whether Holmberg should be dumped. I’d agree, I’d rather see Steeves on that second line too.

Just feels like a game that Swayman is going to shutout the Leafs. Not because of shutout level goaltending but the kind of shutout that's Leafs shooting and of course over passing, which gets you shutout everytime.
Split the groups keep line one with a dman and line two with a dman and extra forwards on both create competition and urgency

I get that games like these happen, but I hate that it has to come against Boston. Come on, guys. Still 2 periods left to rectify the situation.
Not a whole lot going right at all tonight. Litany of bad bounces, the Tanev injury, maybe McCabe's worst period as a Leaf, and a godawful PP. Refs also letting Boston run a lot of interference. 4th line plus those Stolarz saves were the only bright spots.

No we’ve been luccy the last two games won games we probably wouldn’t have if we weren’t playing a rusty Carolina and a garbage blacchawks so we’re getting what we deserve

The refs giving their buddy Marchand a made-up powerplay while the Bruins clutch and grab every play can barely be blamed for this loss. The Leafs are playing like they don't give a shit.

FLR, CAR, CBJ, BOS, OTT, NYR
We could choke vs the first group as well but I like our style and team play better vs them then second group
