Holmberg has scored two empty netters and a garbage goal off nine people, and he's "playing great". Turf him in a heartbeat for Jarny! Sell less low!

Brought to you by "McMann is not a lock to play in the NHL" at the beginning of the season.

Holmberg is playing well so let's get rid of him...

Holmberg is still completely mediocre, a pair of empty net gifts from Nylander on the weekend didn’t change that.

He’s cheap, so keep him for depth I guess if you want, but he absolutely should be replaced on the roster.

A very busy stretch from now to the end of the reg season. They need lots of guys helping to solidify 1st and hopefully can rest some of the regulars

Not a fan of Jarnkrok but hopefully he can add something to the lineup until playoffs. Once the real season starts hopefully he’s not needed as they will add better players.

He may, but at 2.1 million, do we really want to take the chance? Especially when we know he’ll do nothing in the playoffs when we get there?

He needs to be gone at the deadline.

I can think of a few players he is better than that will likely be on the roster come playoff time.

LOL at comparing McMann to Holmberg.

LOL at not being able to read.

I can read just fine.

McMann playing well in the NHL and being in our top 9 doesn't equate to Holmberg doing the same, your assertion that it does is laughable.

Zero chance he’s good enough to warrant a top 9 role, and as a 4th liner he’s a very poor fit. He doesn’t hit, he doesn’t win faceoffs, he doesn’t produce goals, doesn’t take the puck away, so what exactly is he bringing to the table?

Who comes out for Jarnkrok? Holmberg has been great of late, same with Steeves. Lorentz?
Steeves, even tho he's been great that's the easiest guy for Berube to bench.

If it were up to me Jarnkrok would be sitting until we lose a game or one guy is glaringly bad and needs to sit

It's not official, but it's something.

I would think we should play Jarnkrok as soon as possible, and as much as possible. First, to determine if he should be kept... and second, to build some potential trade value, for when we make moves, to clear the cap.

I doubt that, given the way he plays. I don't know if he'll get the points commensurate with the new contract (he could), the hits and fights would play well with some in the fan base here

He rarely does those things for Boston.

Could be a bit of a snoozer tonight. Bruins likely to make the game as low event as possible.

Or maybe somebody does something that causes an eruption. Ya that sounds good!

He fits on the 4th line as much as Kampf does... and he can definitely chip in enough offensively in the bottom 6 and is good defensively.

He's a safe player who can play up the lineup if injuries arise but right now is suited for a bottom 6 role.

Let all of Dewar/Holmberg/Pacioretty/Lorentz/Robertson/Steeves/whoever compete for a spot.

I think Holmberg gets pretty underrated because he is usually on a line of misfits and is not having the best offensive season relative to years past.
