McMann has done well with Nylander and JT

Marner can play down in the line up to generate offense and be a stabilizing defensive player for two youngsters

Samsonov vs Tampa was brutal and had was like 4 goals against average ? He didn’t close anything he just got lucky Tampa goalie was the only goalie with worse numbers. Again hoping praying for random luck doesn’t win playoff rounds let alone playoffs. Samsonov record last year was in playoffs was what 4 wins 6 loses over 4 goals a game average ?

Sure we gave up 30 shots but a lot of them were from outside

Some of the goals were bad

It's a shame Woll missed so much of this season, he could have become our #1 easily. He, like Robertson, just need way more experience in the NHL. Can't do that without staying healthy.

Frederik Andersen is 32-26-0 in 62 games with a goals against average of 2.44 and a save percentage of .917 in the playoffs in his career.

Without question we are toast with samsonov. Samsonov speaks for himself

If Jarnkrok is healthy. And to appease Styles just a little, I'd make an all Swede third line. Jarnkrok-Holmberg-Styles. I still like the idea of " hiding " Robertson on the top line with Matthews, making our line up even deeper. Now, if we just had a goalie.

Yeah Anderson also played hurt majority of his last season goes to sign with canes for 4.25 for 2 years and we sign mzrake for 3 years at 3.7 mill. Then dumbass had to trade a 1st to hawks to take mzrak after 1 year. So basically leafs ditched Anderson and 1st for literally nothing ? If Anderson wasn’t the guy he sure as hell would be giving us a much better chance than samsonov

The shameful part is how Keefe played woll upon returning. The kid was elite. Missed 3 months and upon returning Keefe throws him to wolves to protect samsonov from all the harder games / teams. Woll was throw right in to protect samsonov from playing the harder games. Again Keefe ruined woll upon returning.

You'd think after all this time you would understand how trades work.

I guess the Leafs didn't get anything in return for that trade...
