What is crazy is we would have played the bruins 2 more times if COVID/Bruins legndary choke didnt come

2020 the bruins were president trophy winners and we looked to be 8th if we made the playoffs (wc2) so we would have matched

Last year in 2023 we finally win R1 and bruins looks to be doing the same but they choke and we dont get Bos - Tor R2 edition.

I had thought Boston would be in year 2 or 3 of their new contention window after starting a rebuid in 2018ish (2018 - 2021 rebuild). These guys just manage to be an elite contender every year. They often underperform come playoffs which is ironic

i don't think this team is built with that mentality. feel like saying that to them will hurt their feelings and make them sullen and less confident.

Sure we gave up 30 shots but a lot of them were from outside
