I think the Leafs match up just fine against Boston. Their goaltending is the only real difference maker, and our forwards have the talent to overcome that.

Boston is a beached cruise ship. Full of old people and shallow at C (sea).

No easy matchup between Bos/Fla, we're heavy underdogs in both series.
Logically, Matthews & Tavares should have an easier time as Bos is not as strong as Fla down the middle.

The big boys need to step up and step up big. Enough coddling, you got your money now earn it when it counts.

The last two games were total domination.

The Lightning are 50/50 vs Boston. We beat Lightning 60/40. Boston beats us 70/30.

Yeah I guess we have to eventually win some games, their streak can’t go on indefinitely.

Where are you pulling these numbers from? There’s literally no playoff that could go against another and be a 70/30 fav.

This team is f***ed if they keep playing the way they are. Did everyone forget how to hockey because of Auston chasing 70 or something?

Were you saying the same thing in 2019 when the Leafs dominated the Bruins in the regular season, and lost in 7?

This series all eyes on Nylander. Big Willy wanted the big bucks and wanted to be a leaf. We going to learn and see Nylander worth head to head vs Pasternak. How and why we ever paid Willy more than Pasternak is insane. Either way Willy all eyes on you. Better bring your best game ever because we know Pasternak will be elite and killing leafs like usual. Again how Willy got paid more than Pasternak is insane

The first of the two 4-1 games, not at all. The second one was bad. But it was also incredibly stupid by our coaching staff to throw Woll to the wolves in his first couple games back. He was not very good in either game.

I think it depends on our goaltending, the rest of the team Toronto is better, we'll see if Sammy or Woll can get back to playing better.

The big boys do need to step up.

They have Matthews, Marner, and Nylander, who some say are future hall of famers, but their past performances gives cause for concern. Boston is a good team, not a great team, that relies heavily on their goaltending. If the Leafs stars are as good as they think they are, they should win in 6 games.

No they weren’t.
The first 4-1 loss was a goaltending loss in Woll’s first game back from a length injury, nothing more.

The second game of the two they actually did play poorly but that happens.

We actually matchup against Boston quite well. The areas we excel are areas they struggle with. We have a sizeable advantage up front, while they are clearly better in terms of top pairing D and in goal.

We will determine our own fate
