This inability to score on the PP makes no sense whatsoever.
We have dedicated so much of our overall cap on 4 forwards one of them who will be one of the best goal scorers of all time, two 90-100pt players in MM/WN and a good net front guy in Tavares.

It almost feels like their tendencies or strategy has been figured out and we're now being exploited.

The PP is supposed to be THE difference maker.

It really defies all logic. Maybe we need to put less firepower out there and get someone on each PP unit that can win the battles in the corners to keep the attack alive rather than get knocked off the puck and lose possession almost instantly.

Aren't him and JT the only ones to score a PP goal of the big boys this season? It's weird they aren't out there to start, although Matthews is on a separate unit so I guess that might be the reason. Should be Matthews and Nylander on one unit.

Seems like the PP is cursed though so who knows it the lineup even matters.
Marner isnt even a shot threat... look at Blues, shooting from everywhere.

Probably 6-7-1 by the end of Tuesday night. Everyone ready to fight for a wildcard spot with Ottawa this year? lmao

It's not a pretty good period for Woll, you can' let 2 blue line shot goes in

You just put Stolarz in net tonight and its a 1-1 game, simple as that.

That just totally broking team momemtum...
He has to be better for sure. But the skaters in front of him were outright terrible that period. Puck chasing, out of position, slow, weak...

I am sure Stolarz has never let a blind screen shot from the point in ever before. Never will in the future either.

The second one had no screen...

The 1st, he had been pretty slow to get back in position and track the puck. It was not a huge screen, he just had been surprised by Parayko shot
