IMO they need to revert to basics
If marners open in a good chance, shoot it
If Matthews is open, shoot it
If bunting is open, shoot it

The overpassing is happening because teams aren’t as fearful of all 3 as last year. These three alone would cause zone breakdowns with minimal involvement from the dman, they need to simplify the game, and once it starts smoothening out, then they can look for the fancy plays and whatnot

They have been off a bit, but Bunting has been trash. Have to wonder how that is affecting the lines ability to finish plays.

Cannot believe Keefe has not changed that up a little even just to get the guys attention.
