It's always a bit of a bummer to get all the advanced hype about how the Leafs are revamped and they still come out of each game and kind of wait for the other team to dictate how to play the game. Seems like it's baked into the culture...

I was just thinking the same thing. I like Thorton but he has no place on the top line with Matthews and Marner.
