Man it’s so hard to be even remotely excited about this team this year. Earlier this year I really felt it wasn’t Berube’s superior coaching but rather ridiculous goaltending that masked that they’re actually worse than last year. Now goaltending comes down a notch and we see an avg team at best. Matthews has been shadow of himself - leafs might have dodged a bullet not signing him more than 5 years if dude keeps getting injured
