I don't know why Jarnkrok is already out of the lineup, assuming it's injury related again? He needs to play and get up to speed if he's going to be a player in the playoffs.

And do what in the playoffs? I get it, not everyone is a scorer but we have too many players who do the same he does. Minimal production defensive forwards. You need more than a 0 0 0 stat line in a playoff series.
I'd keep McMann on L3 just to spread the scoring around - Tavares/Nylander should be able to score regardless of who is on the left side so I'll give them a defensively conscious winger in Jarnkrok
McMann - Laughton - Robertson should be an aggressive third line that has lots of speed with 2 players that have a scoring touch
L4 can be the line you bury in heavy d-zone starts
I don’t get the Holmberg hate. Are people actually watching the games in the last two weeks? He looks like a different player since the break and is playing really well.I would agree. Robertson adding speed and hustle to the 2nd or 3rd line is needed, not sure why Berube thinks Holmberg is a legit capable player. If we were down bad with injuries then sure, go for it... but we're not? Every coach has this weird obsession with a player or two.
Also the lines don't matter if they play like utter crap like they did last few games. Stuck in our zone 80% of the game is bad recipe for obvious reasons. They need to figure out their breakouts and transition play.

Or we can just keep a cheap player with value and stop trading for piccs that we end up trading for ufas we actually have to pay imagine filling our roster with cost control rfas like him and holmberg and signing impact forwards to complement the lines and actually build a team this off season is gonna be a big one for treYou’re betting on Robertson because you didn’t trade him, so let him do his thing in the middle six. Holmberg can play on the 4th line. Robertson has been pretty good lately, he has a legit weapon of a shot. Itll supply much needed secondary scoring in the playoffs and It’ll increase his off season trade value.
The exact same thing has been said for the past 3 years… Pretty pathetic and concerning. Can't stand these lines.
Tavares-Nylander doesn't work well.
Laughton - Domi is a recipe for disaster.
Matthews-Marner need to be seperated to give the team more balance.
It's so frustrating that year after year, this team just can't find the right chemistry and we're messing around so close to the playoffs.
It's not surprising we're on a losing streak. The lines are the worst possible combinations and it's obvious to everyone but the coach.
