I doubt both. We're most likely not trading our 2nd rounder for this year and to acquire any impact RHD it would be too expensive on our current assets. We have 2 4th line centers that do fine so I'm not sold on that either.I think we'll see a deal for a RHD and possibly a 4th line C
I predict Dubas will be conservative based on his level of NHL GM experience.
He just traded for Muzzin for a pretty good package.
Come on...
I predict Dubas will be conservative based on his level of NHL GM experience.
All the more reason for him to be conservative at the TD as he already dealt his best currency away in a 1st in 2019 and essentially 2 X 2nds (in prospects level) for Muzzin.
Do you see him dealing the 2020 1st rounder also away now, when he should know that once all the big contracts of AM and MM kick in his drafting and developing players around them through the draft will be vital to the teams success long-term and without 1st round picks that task becomes much harder.
He hasn't dealt any real roster players away YET, and so dealing futures is easier than dealing roster players for any GM.

if dubas can move Zaitsev out and bring a RHD upgrade in while not losing anything significant off the currenr roster that would be sweet.
I would try to sell on Hainsey or Zaitsev and call up Liljegren.
Otherwise no trades.

I wouldn’t be surprised with either Glendening or Jensen from Detroit.
