Why will it be different than any other game?

Because it's the home opener with it being the first game since the end of the lockout.

And many more "diehard" leaf fans who go out of their way to get tickets will be there as per normal.

So like any other Home Opener.

Yes. You were the one who took my comment out of context.

But it may be more amped up in there, like I said, it being the first game since a few months under a year. And the extra 1000 "diehard" leaf fans that were able to go out of their away and grab tickets.

It's getting old, how many fans do you think are there every game like buddy up above who purchased them off a STH? I'd say he was pretty diehard, as is anybody that goes down.

There is no way of knowing who the 1000 tickets will go to.

IMO, the "diehards" are the ones who pay for tickets. These 1000 tickets would be available for every game, just these aren't being sold.

a real fan is someone who tries to boost their teams spirits at the games because they care so much :D

trust me, it will be loud as ****..bring a decibal meter and compare

I agree it will be loud just not for the reasons you do.

Read how the MLSE is giving these tickets out. Not just any average Joe can get them.

So you are also saying that all the "diehards" make a hefty income too then.

Decent. But it really doesn't benefit about 98% of leaf fans..

Short of simply opening up the doors to whoever shows up for free, I think it's pretty damn good.

How does one acquire tickets?

Well first you have to read the news article. ;)

I have no idea how they are giving them out, hopefully they go to rabid fans.
Edit - Just saw your other post, that's great. I guess I get a free game, possibly a scarf. I'll take it.

Not sure I understand what you're saying. There are always Game Day tickets available, they just aren't charging for these.

How does giving free meal combos at NHL arenas (the most popular promotion) help 98% of the fans in other cities?

At least this is better.

There are many things they could do to help fans in other cities , one of these things is putting 50% off on team appraisal , which some teams are doing.

That's why I told you to read how to get them, because I knew you weren't aware. They will go to the rabid fans more often than not which is why the arena may be a little more jumping come game day.

You said you thought the "diehards" are the ones who buy tickets to the games. If you are judging a fans status off how many games they go to, I said that you are also implying that all "diehards" make a nice salary each year.

in the morning im going with couple friends we are just gonna chill around the ACC and check our twitter ever 30 seconds
