Post-Game Talk: Leafs tie Season Series with Senators

for some unknown reason it's 3-0

they been coasting all series, no killer instinct. face it, they been playing like sh* for the majority of these games, no aggression, no excitement, no desire to blow out Ottawa and just take it to them. they're just taking a small lead and then sitting back, allowing the Sens back into it each time

but somehow they have a big lead

it must mean Ottawa is just that bad? because there's no way this should be 3-0
That's the way they have played all year.

They have played with a tonne of heqrt and passion.

If the game is tied or they have a one goal lead they dominate play.

Get up 2 or more, they sit back and let Ottawa play with the puck on the outside to kill clock.

You realise for back to back games the Leafs have given up a total of 5 shots.

Impossible to do with out passion or heart and team comittment.

Very comfortable watching the Leafs play these days.

Calm, collected, confident, strong on defense. Allow the stars to pounce.

Hard to imagine after all this time. We deserve this.
During the third period I had the exact same feeling.

Remember when they would just be flailing away out there, swatting at pucks and running around?

Night and day. Everything is exzctly as you say. Calm. Collected. Controlled. Hard. It is amazing to watch. And they kept playing tonight, making plays, not just sitting back.

Shame it even went to OT, but totally worth it to see the blood drain from every Senators fan in that rink that is out in the f***in boonies! Enjoy your hour parking lot fiasco.

Stubhub flooded with game 4 tickets... probably.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily fromNarodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick and Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Rick and Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

Usually feels like a benoit shot on net is as dangerous as a dump in

That's 2 back to back points on gwg in OT for this guy

Couple of boneheaded penalties got them into trouble, but for the most part it was a solid game. So nice to see them up in a series like this and now it’s time to finish it.

This mature team has picked up on Berube’s style. They shutdown the third period again allowing few shots. Then they know that in overtime, you have to shoot at the net every opportunity. Domi did it to cause faceoff. Benoit did it after the faceoff win.

They said after game two that despite being out scored 9-4, and down 0-2 in the series that the Sens had to feel pretty good about things.

On top of the completely nauseating commentary. Ridley Greig this, Brady that, hey did you know Jake Sanderson invented hockey skates?
Sanderson might be the best player on that team. He is legit f***ing good. Way better than Stutzle imo. Better than Brady too I think.
