Please tell me people in this thread remember when some guy called in and suggested that we bring up "Nigel Cadbury" from the minors?.... Turns out that he meant Nazem Kadri, lol. Sooooooo many morons called into that show. Its really no surprise that Andy Frost was a bit of a curmudgeon as host.

Nigel Cadbury? Lol when was that. Maybe I can find it online in the 640 archives.

Does anyone else miss Leafs Talk with Andy Frost? I always loved tuning in to the show because it was full of trolls and funny listening to irate callers.

LOL I was lucky in that 640 began streaming online quite early (I think as around 2005 or 06) so I would normally catch Leafs talk. I imagine during the early 2000s it was quite calm, but during the Ferguson and Burke years, this show was therapy. You could really tell the mood of Leafs nation just by listening to the calls, especially after a big loss. I remember one guy called in and said he they should convince Wendel Clark to come out of retirement and play for the Leafs again. Andy wasn't having any of it.

I remember someone once called in and said the Leafs should trade Chris Bosh to the Capitals for Alex Ovechkin. I swear to god because this person must have assumed since the Leafs and Raptors have the same ownership they could do something like that and Andy said to him "Sir you must be drunk" and hung up.

the caller did appear too emotional and genuinely upset, Frost was talking calmly to him and gave him good advice.
