Does anyone else miss Leafs Talk with Andy Frost? I always loved tuning in to the show because it was full of trolls and funny listening to irate callers.

Haven't watched the video yet, but I clearly remember one night, after the Caps and Ovechkin lit up the Leafs, someone called in proposing an inter-sport trade..

Yep ... Chris Bosh for Alex Ovechkin. I could hear Andy through the radio.

Sandeep was pretty prophetic

Mike was best caller but lots of idiots called in as well. Andy was not one to criticize which was a bit frustrating given the team was crap.

I really miss Andy Frost. Don't forget - he was the in-house ACC announcer since the doors opened; the building has lost quite a bit of it's soul since they got this new guy on the microphone. Not a fan of his generic voice.

Yeah, I miss the show. I always liked Andy Frost. I remember first listening to him way back in the mid- to late 90s. Even called in once berating management for trading that 1st to the Islanders for Clark knowing the pick was going to be really good (could have used that Luongo call all these years eh?). LOL

He has a great voice, and I enjoyed the fact he didn't have an a-hole persona behind him (like a certain other post-game show host in the city). Now we have the choice of two post-game shows, both controlled by an owner of the team. No thanks.

Even though his show was on Corus, he too was also an employee of MLSE. Doing Leafs talk, he definitely had his MLSE hat on. I will say being a Corus employee, helped precipitate the choice, not to re-sign him. I do prefer Andy to Mike for the ACC PA.

Sooooooo many morons called into that show. Its really no surprise that Andy Frost was a bit of a curmudgeon as host.

I liked Andy but it was frustrating that he would never be critical of the team, ever. There were definitely times where you could tell who was paying him.

Let me tell you, I did this for both Mike Wilner(Jays Talk) and Gord Stellick(Leafs Talk) the amount of times idiots fooled me and made themselves look stupid on air was beyond me. They would conduct themselves well on the pre-call screen and then act like boobs after.
