I’d wager this will be a close game. I’ll enjoy it but in the grand scheme of things, hard to care too much until the playoffs.

Leafs win this game

Certain fans: “The Bruins were distracted about the media scrutiny regarding Miller, so this wasn’t a true test, wait until next game when they are not distracted”

Or something stupid like that
It could be the exactly the opposite too by winning to deter all the negative press.

The boys need to come out strong and hungry. One good game in the entire season isn’t good enough to build strong habits.

Hate the bruins all you want but there have a strong culture and resilience in their leadership

Odd because I have a feeling they are going to be really good tonight. Guess one of our magic 8 balls is wrong. We will see soon enough.
Here’s to hoping it’s mine.

I don't think the Leafs effort against the Flyers was great.
Obviously, the result was better, against a team playing a B2B, with their back-up playing on one skate blade(j/k).

Samsonov looked leaky, although he saved the team to start the 3rd. period as their stinky play allowed the Flyers a free pass into the zone. Without that save, I'm not sure there'd have been any celebration. Not the first time they've played an opening face-off like it is a warm up.

I have no confidence in this team. Been a while since I expect the Leafs to win games. I expect them to lose, even with the points record last year, it just didn't impress me ... but that's probably because they just don't win big games.

Let us:
Give Liljegren time to get up to NHL speed before we expect him to carry the defense.
Hope Holl gets his head straight and has confidence to play without thinking every decision.
See Sandin stays in his lane, and engages physically when given the opportunity.
Watch Rielly earns his contract.
Keefe put Brodie with the right partner.
Discourage Giordano from becoming the team enforcer.

Going to my first ever NHL game tonight and taking my son with me ( his first also ) got some tickets from work . Any suggestions on parking, what time to get there, how to dress for the arena seats up high . Coming in from stratford area .
On the north side of Front just west of Simcoe there is an underground lot, right beside Scaddabush. Usually $10 after 5 and a quick exit after the game. I always park there.
I get there for puck drop but I would suggest you get there early and walk the building, go down to the glass for warm up. Go to customer service when you get there and tell them it’s your sons first game and they will deliver a first game bag to your seat.
Not sure what you mean about ‘how to dress?”
You can dress the same anywhere in the building.

Enjoy the game!

The first game bag is a cool touch

The leafs will probably play great against the bruins. The leafs usually play great against top teams and crap the bed against bottom feeders

Maybe the Bruins will be to demoralized to play and we can catch them off-guard.

I do think it's possible they come out flat for this reason. I'm sure their guys hate having to answer questions about this when they were playing so well. We'll see.

They trotted out poor Bergeron for an interview with Friedman, it's sad. Using his reputation to defend this.

Tonight there'll be a ruckus yeah regardless of what's gone before.

Go Leafs Go!!!

Kinda funny they signed him right before playing us on HNIC. Gosh, I wonder what they'll talk about during intermission!
It's one of the stupidest signings ever when you look at everything

- They did it before playing TORONTO on a Saturday night
- They're 10-1 and the team is on fire
- The prospect isn't even a surefire NHL player or anything, he's a regular prospect with this much baggage
- They consulted the team's leadership group who said they aren't for it, but they went ahead and did it anyways
- The leadership group is now actively speaking out against it in the media
- They didn't reach out to the victim's family
- They didn't reach out to the NHL to see if he can play

Just an all around shit show
